Question about the push for wireless everything in residential installs

I just hit 50 hardwired systems installed this year, which surprised me because everyone says wireless is the future. Doesn't a wired system still give you the most reliable signal, or am I just old school?

Hang on, let me grab my tin foil hat real quick. Did the jammer attack also try to steal their credit card numbers through the ethernet cable? That must have been a pretty intense install.
