I thought those wireless glass break sensors were just a gimmick for lazy installs.
For years, I refused to install them, convinced the wired ones were the only reliable option. Then a client in a historic building downtown insisted on no new wires. I put in a set of the wireless ones as a trial, fully expecting callbacks. That was about 8 months ago. Not a single false alarm, and they caught an actual break when a kid threw a rock through a basement window last month. The signal strength has been solid, even through the old brick walls. I still prefer wired where I can, but I have to admit the tech has gotten good. What's the longest you've had a set of wireless sensors hold up without an issue?

Oh man, I got so lost in the reviews. I ended up with the one that had the blue trim, you know, not the fancy one but the step below it. My neighbor saw it and told me his cousin had the same model for years with zero issues. So far it's been quiet, which was my main thing.

Oh man, I totally feel what you're saying. I was the same way until my buddy @the_val talked me into trying a set for a tricky install at my sister's place. It's been over a year now and they're still rock solid, just like he said his cousin's were. Really changed my mind on how reliable these things can be.
