I finally figured out why my old test meter was giving me false positives on continuity checks

Remember my old analog meter doing the same thing. Traced it back to a weak internal battery causing weird ghost voltages. Felt so good to finally solve that little mystery.

Oh man, @noraj79, a fresh battery fixed mine too!

My Fluke 27 that I got in 1992 started randomly showing continuity when the probes weren't touching anything. Drove me nuts for a week. Swapped the 9V battery and it fixed it completely. Those old analog meters can really mess with your head when the battery gets weak.
