Hot take: most guys set their motion sensors facing the door, not across it
Did a callback in Mesa last Tuesday because a homeowner kept getting false alarms at 2am, and the guy who installed it had pointed the detector straight at the sliding glass door so every car headlight coming up the driveway tripped it, and I have now fixed that same mistake on four houses this year alone, so I am wondering if anyone else keeps running into this or if it is just the installers in my area.
