Battery backups dying at 2am in Sacramento, any way to test them faster?
We got called out three times last month for panels that were dead before 7am, all because the backup battery gave out silently. The meter said 12.8V but under load it dropped to like 20% in seconds. I'm swapping them now on every annual service instead of just checking voltage, but that costs the customer an extra $65 per visit. Is there a load tester that actually works for these smaller 7Ah units without rigging up a whole bench setup?
