Warning: a stuck panel screw in Tulsa ate 3 hours of my shift
I was pulling an access panel on a King Air last Tuesday in Tulsa and one screw was so frozen it stripped the head before it budged. I tried a speed handle, then an extractor, then drilled it out with a #30 bit and re-tapped the hole, which took 3 hours when it should have been 20 minutes. What are you guys using to get frozen panel screws out without wrecking the nut plate?

Had a bolt snap on a 737 once, same pain.

Bolts and fasteners always fail at the WORST time too. Bet it was cold, raining, and you were running late on top of it.
