Walked through a maintenance hangar in Phoenix last week and saw the cleanest toolbox setup I've ever come across

I was down at Sky Harbor doing a quick turnaround on a 737 and wandered into the adjacent hangar. Some guy had his Snap-on box organized with foam cutouts for every single tool, even the weird specialty ones like the puller for the APU oil filter. I legit stood there for like 5 minutes just staring at it, lol. Do you guys section your deep drawers by system or just by size?

Drove me nuts seeing that too honestly. Its like how you can tell a lot about someone by just looking at their desk or their garage. People who organize by system usually think in workflows and hate wasting time digging around. Size organizers just want it to look pretty but honestly both work if it keeps your brain from leaking out during a long shift. I've noticed the same thing with peoples closets or even their kitchen drawers at home. Its all just a bigger picture of how your brain wants to process the world around you.

Nah, size organizing just means you care about how things look more than how they actually work which is fine too.
