Torque wrench calibration sticker lied to me on a 737 flap job
Last month I was doing flap track work in the hangar and my torque wrench said it was calibrated 2 months prior. I was feeling lazy and trusted the sticker until I snapped a bolt clean off at 90 inch pounds. Turns out the gauge was reading 30 percent low, the calibration place forgot to reset the dial after servicing it. Now I test every wrench against the old beam style unit we keep in the back, it takes 5 minutes and has caught another bad one since. Anyone else had a calibration shop miss one like that?

Trusting those stickers is how I ended up buying a backup torque wrench...
