New guys at our hangar stopped reading torque wrenches by feel, and I finally get why
When I started 12 years back, half the older mechanics would run a bolt down and call it good by feel alone. Now every new hire I train pulls out the spec sheet first, even on a simple panel screw, and honestly our comebacks for loose hardware have gone way down. Anyone else notice this shift, or is it just the crews I've worked with in Wichita?
