Just realized the local museum's warbird hangar has better air quality than my shop

Stopped by the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo on my day off and walked into their restoration bay. The air was clean, no solvent smell at all. They run constant filtration and keep humidity locked at 45 percent. Meanwhile my hangar smells like MEK and old grease by 9am. Made me wonder how much difference proper airflow makes for the folks doing fabric work there. Has anyone pushed their shop to upgrade filtration after seeing a museum setup?

Those filters cost more than the value of a lot of the junk we pull apart in my place, and that's before you factor in the electric bill to run them. Museums also get grant money and donor cash we don't have, so comparing setups is like comparing a show car to a daily driver. My solvent smell just means I'm actually working on something instead of polishing a display piece.
