I used to vacuum chip trays and oil spills every Friday. Now I just leave them for the morning guys.
Switched to the night shift at a regional hangar in Denver about 8 months ago. Nobody complains because the morning crew hits everything with that citrus degreaser and a shop vac before first light. Has anyone else just stopped doing certain cleanups because of shift handoff?

Citrus degreaser at first light? That stuff rips your sinuses out.

Used to swear by the stuff. Thought the strong smell meant it was doing a better job cleaning. But after a bad morning last week with the garage door cracked open and that citrus cloud hitting me right in the face, my eyes were watering and my nose burned for an hour straight. Now I see the point, that stuff is brutal first thing.

Wait, did I used to think that citrus smell was just the price you pay for a clean floor? I was the same way, thought the stronger the smell the better it was working. Then one morning a gust of wind hit me with a fresh wave of it before coffee and now I get why everyone hates that stuff before dawn.
