I finally saw the inside of a Delta A330 hangar at MSP and one thing stuck with me
Toured the Delta maintenance hangar at MSP last month with a buddy who works there. What caught my eye was how every torque wrench in the shop had its own shadow board slot, and a missing wrench stops the whole shift until it's found. They told me a lost wrench once grounded a plane for 6 hours while guys searched the whole bay. Do other shops run a tool control system this strict, or is that just a big airline thing?
