Comparison between zip ties and lacing tape on wire bundles

I used zip ties on engine harnesses for 3 years, then tried lacing tape on a Cessna 172 last month. The flexibility for routing and no stress cracks sold me, what do you guys use on tight bends?

Nah, lacing tape all the way on tight spots.

Hit me with a specific spot on the 172. Did you run into the firewall pass-through? I tried lacing tape there but the vibration from the engine bay made me switch back to zip ties real quick. The tape just couldn't hold tight enough against the constant shaking.
