Borescope camera battery trick backfired on a PT6 inspection
Tried using a cheap 12V lithium pack to power my borescope instead of the usual AA tray, and it started flickering mid-way through a hot section check in Dallas last month. Learned the hard way that voltage sag under load messes with the LED brightness and focus. Anyone else rigged up a power source that worked better?

Check the cell's internal resistance, cheap packs sag hard when cold.
