Warning: that $50 silicone liner I bought wrecked my air fryer basket
In my experience, those flexible silicone basket liners everyone raves about are a total trap. I picked one up for about $50 on Amazon last month, thinking it would make cleanup a breeze. Instead, it melted and warped after just three uses at 400 degrees, and the sticky residue took me a full hour with baking soda and vinegar to scrub off. The holes in the liner also blocked airflow, so my chicken wings came out soggy on the bottom and burnt on top. I ended up tossing the liner and going back to parchment paper cut to fit, which costs pennies and works way better. Has anyone else had a liner fail like this, or did I just get a bad batch from a random brand?

Mine warped at 380 after two weeks. Stuck to the basket like glue and left that weird chemical smell every time I cooked after. Tossed it and went back to foil. Never again.
