Visited my sister in Phoenix and noticed everyone puts corn in the air fryer

I was down in Phoenix last month visiting my sister and went to a little potluck she had. Every single person there had brought something made in an air fryer, but the one that got me was the corn on the cob. This one guy took frozen corn ears, threw them in at 400 degrees for like 12 minutes, and they came out with these perfect charred spots without any oil or mess. Has anyone else tried making corn this way or am I late to the party?

Man I used to be an oven-only guy for corn but after trying the air fryer method last week I'm totally converted. That charred flavor without the mess sold me, how long do you usually let it go?

8-10 mins at 380°F does it for me, shake em halfway through. Toss with some chili lime salt right after and it's game over.
