Oh man, that's amazing! I had the exact same thing happen with my grandma's chicken dredge recipe. She always used this seasoned flour with a little paprika and garlic powder, and I figured it would just burn in the air fryer. Nope, it came out even crispier than the deep fryer did, and way less greasy. I almost felt bad for her old fryer sitting in the garage collecting dust. Now I'm working my way through her old casserole recipes and seeing if they work too.
