Shoutout to the person who said to air fry chicken wings without flipping them

I always flipped my wings halfway through because every recipe said to, but last month I tried leaving them untouched for 18 minutes at 380 degrees and they came out way crispier on the bottom side. Now I'm wondering if flipping is a waste of time for other stuff like fries or nuggets too. What do you all think... do you flip your food or just let it ride?

Respectfully disagree, flipping gives me way more even crisp and prevents that soggy top situation.

Totally had this same thing happen with frozen egg rolls last week. @noah_black I thought you were onto something with the flipping but I tossed a batch in without touching them at 375 for 15 minutes and the bottoms shattered like glass when I bit into them. The tops were fine, just normal crispy. Now I'm weirdly into the idea that flipping might be a scam for certain foods but I still flip my fries because they get sad and floppy otherwise.
