My air fryer basket latch snapped off after 8 months
I was making chicken wings last night and the little plastic tab on the handle just broke clean off when I pulled it open. Now the whole basket slides out if I tilt it even a bit, which happened and dumped half cooked wings all over the counter. Anyone found a good fix for this or a brand that doesn't use cheap plastic parts?

it dumps half cooked wings all over the counter" - yeah that's basically my life story right there. I had the exact same thing happen with my own air fryer, except mine snapped when I was trying to impress a date with some homemade fries. Let's just say the date didn't go great and I had to sweep up a mess before she even arrived. Honestly I think these companies just use the cheapest plastic they can find and hope nobody notices until the warranty is up. I ended up just jerry-rigging mine with a heavy duty zip tie around the handle and basket, which looks stupid but works well enough until I cave and buy a new one.
