Debate: Should you preheat your air fryer or not? I just hit 100 recipes and got two very different results.
I finally cooked my 100th air fryer meal last night and noticed a big split. Some recipes turned out perfect without preheating, but others came out soggy or uneven when I skipped it. Do you always preheat or just throw food in and hope for the best?

100 recipes is a lot, but I got this air fryer as a gift two years ago and just started using it regular like last fall. Honestly, I didn't even know preheating was a thing till about 30 recipes in, because the manual is basically a tiny pamphlet with no detail. I tried both ways and now I'm stuck in the middle because some frozen stuff like fries come out way better if I preheat first, but chicken thighs seem to stay juicier if I throw em in cold. So yeah, I still guess a lot even after 100 tries. What kind of food gives you the most trouble with soggy results?

Wait, you actually made 100 air fryer meals without figuring out the preheat thing till now? That blows my mind. I just pop stuff in cold and hope it works, but 100 tries seems like a lot of guesswork.
