Bought an air fryer on a whim two years ago, thought it was just another gadget

I was sure it'd end up in the back of the cabinet like my old bread maker, but after using it to crisp up frozen chicken wings for a Super Bowl party last month, I'm a believer. What finally sold you on the air fryer if you were skeptical at first?

You ever have that moment where you're at a friend's house and they pull out something you totally wrote off? My buddy Jeff got one a year ago and I just laughed, figured it was a fad. Then he made these little cheeseburger sliders in it, and the meat had this crispy edge, but was still juicy inside... I couldn't believe it. I watched him toss together frozen fries and they came out way better than my oven ever did, no greasy mess either. Now I'm the one telling people to just try one and see, it's not like the infomercial stuff from back in the day.

Yeah totally get that @gibson.nathan. I was the same way, thought it was just another gadget that would collect dust. Then my neighbor brought over some wings he made in his and the skin was actually crunchy, not soggy like when I bake them. I ended up picking one up during a sale a few months later and honestly use it more than my actual oven now. It's just faster and the food really does come out better, at least in my experience.
