Wasted $150 on an AI writing tool that just reworded my own stuff

I bought a yearly plan for this tool that promised to help brainstorm blog posts. It just took my own notes and shuffled the words around... I used it for about a month before giving up. Has anyone found an AI that actually helps with creative ideas, not just rewrites?

What kind of prompts did you try feeding it? I've found you have to give them a lot of specific context to get past the generic rewrites.

That Wired article said you need at least five detailed examples first.
