User feedback on my AI image generator made me stop ignoring the 'weird hands' problem

I've been messing around with Stable Diffusion for a few months now, mostly making concept art for D&D characters (you know, for fun). Last week someone commented on one of my posts saying "the hands look like spaghetti" and honestly I thought they were just being mean. But then I zoomed in and yeah, every single character had these twisted nightmare fingers. I'd been ignoring it because I figured "AI just does that sometimes" but their comment made me actually look up how to fix it. Took me maybe 20 minutes to find a LoRA model that handles hand anatomy way better. The difference is crazy - like night and day. Has anyone else had a random piece of criticism that made you actually improve something you were just accepting as broken?
