Update: I was wrong about AI image generators being just toys

Spent last month fighting with DALL-E to make product mockups for a client pitch, and after 40+ tries it actually nailed a photorealistic lifestyle shot that saved me $300 on a photographer. Has anyone else found a practical business use that changed your opinion on these tools?

Ended up in the exact same boat last week! Spent hours tweaking prompts for some packaging mockups and almost gave up. Then one random generation just... worked perfectly. Client loved it and I didn't have to spend a dime on a photographer or fancy editing. Felt like the universe was messing with me after all those earlier fails though. Still feels weird that my computer can make better lifestyle shots than my shaky phone camera can.

It really is like the universe just decides when you've suffered enough, right @gonzalez.phoenix? I swear the first 39 bad generations exist just to make that one good one feel like a total miracle. Pretty sure my computer has a sense of humor and it's kind of expensive.
