That $180 AI transcribing app turned out to be a paperweight
Back in 2022 I paid $180 for a lifetime subscription to one of those AI meeting note takers, figured it'd pay off since I'm in Zoom calls all day. First few weeks it worked okay, but then the developer stopped updating it and my phone's OS update killed the integration completely. Now I just use the free built-in recorder on my laptop and manually jot down action items, takes maybe 5 extra minutes per meeting. Anyone else get burned by buying early access to a niche AI tool that never matured?

Same story with my smart home hub. Lifesaver for a year, then beta forever.
