Saw someone use AI to sketch out a garden layout at the park yesterday

I was sitting at Balboa Park last weekend and this lady was using some AI tool on her tablet to plan out her whole backyard garden. She showed me how she typed in 'drought resistant plants for San Diego' and it generated a full layout with spacing and sun angles. I've been trying to do this manually with graph paper for weeks and it's taking forever. Has anyone else switched to AI for project planning like this or is it just me?

Yeah I switched over to using AI for laying out my patio plants last month, it saves a ton of guesswork. @perez.cole hit the nail on the head too, once you see how fast it works it doesn't feel like cheating at all.

Lady on youtube or somewhere? Curious which one you mean, theres a few out there now. I saw one where a woman used it to plan her entire garden layout and it caught me off guard how good it looked. The cheating thing kinda falls apart when you realize its just another tool, like a calculator for math or spell check for writing. Nobody calls a carpenter a cheater for using a nail gun instead of a hammer. People just get scared when they see something new that actually works well. What was the main thing she showed you that flipped your view?
