Rant: dropped $89 on an "AI pitch deck" tool and it just reworded my slides
I fed it our real deck for a seed round and it handed back the same slides with fancier words, plus two charts that were just wrong. Took the team 3 hours to fix what the tool broke in 3 minutes. Has anyone found one that actually helps with numbers, or are these all just fancy thesaurus apps?

Three hours of cleanup for three minutes of tool time is rough, but I'd push back on the idea that these tools are all just thesaurus apps. The deck rewording part is mostly what they do well, and honestly most seed decks get killed by weak stories, not bad charts. Where I've seen them actually break is exactly what you hit: they invent numbers to fill a template. Maybe try feeding it only the text sections and keeping your own charts, and see if that saves the team time instead of costing it.
