PSA: That AI voice cloning tool ruined a family voicemail last week

I mean I get why people use those ElevenLabs clones for like content and stuff, but I tried to surprise my mom with a fake voicemail from my dad who passed away 3 years ago and it just sounded hollow and wrong. The tone was off by maybe 5% but it was enough to feel creepy more than comforting. Has anyone else had a bad experience using AI to recreate a person's voice for emotional stuff instead of work?
