I finally got a custom image generator to stop drawing extra fingers, but it took me 47 different prompt variations over two days.
Everyone says to just add 'detailed hands' to the prompt, but I had to specifically train a small model on my own dataset of 200 correct hand images before it consistently gave me five-fingered people.

Two days and 47 tries sounds about right. I spent a solid week last month trying to get a landscape generator to stop putting random lighthouses in forests, @finleybutler. It kept adding them to every single mountain scene like some weird branding. I had to make a list of fifty "not a lighthouse" image tags and feed them in. These models get stuck on the strangest things.
6
