Burned $220 on an AI video tool that produced glitchy garbage
I paid $220 for a yearly subscription to that AI video generator everyone was hyping, and every clip came out with warped faces and broken hands, even after I followed their tutorials step by step. The refund policy only covered the first 14 days and I hit the 30 day mark because I kept thinking the next update would fix it. Anyone else get stuck paying full price for an AI tool that clearly was not ready for real use, or did I just pick the wrong one?

You picked the wrong one, plain and simple. The good tools out there cost double that and still need a solid week of tweaking, so $220 for a half-baked product is basically the going rate for learning the hard way.

That’s a steep price tag, but is it really that serious? Plenty of folks drop that much on a night out, and at least you got a product to mess with, even if it’s broken. Maybe @gavin928’s right that the cheaper stuff backfires worse, so chalk it up to a bad gamble and move on.
