That talk about firing a bad client last October really paid off
My mentor told me to drop a $2,000 monthly retainer client who kept asking for logo revisions after the contract ended and within 3 months I signed two better ones for $3,500 total, has anyone else had a scary client cut work out better than you expected?

Cutting bad clients almost always frees up time you didn't know you wasted. That logo revision nonsense sounds exhausting for a $2k retainer. You made the right call.

And yeah, that client wanted me to "make the logo pop more" for the 47th time. Pop where? Into a volcano? $2k didn't even cover my coffee budget for those meetings. Felt like I was running a free design school for someone who couldn't tell Comic Sans from a good font. You cut them loose, you get your sanity back. Best decision ever.

Oof, I feel this in my bones. Had a client once who wanted me to "fix" a haircut five times after they already loved it - just kept second guessing themselves. Sometimes you gotta cut the leash and let them go.
