Shoutout to the team that asked to go fully remote after we moved offices
We moved to a bigger office in Austin last year, thinking it would help us grow. I spent about $5,000 on new furniture and a fancy coffee machine to make it nice. But after three months, my lead project manager came to me and said the whole team actually worked better from home during the move and wanted to stay remote. I was totally surprised, but we tried it for a month and our project completion rate went up by 15%. Has anyone else had a plan for their agency's space totally backfire in a good way?

Wow, that coffee machine is the most expensive team morale boost you never meant to buy.

We ditched our office lease after seeing a big jump in productivity and never looked back.

It's wild how many "normal" parts of work life are just expensive habits. We pay for commutes and offices out of pure routine, not because they actually help. Breaking those old patterns can be a total game changer.
