Rant: A 19 year old intern called my agency 'dated' and I'm still mad 2 weeks later

She pointed out our client intake forms are all PDFs and said we look like a 2010 operation which stung because she was right after I counted 4 separate manual data entry steps that take my staff 45 minutes per new client is anyone else getting called out by young hires?

I read somewhere that a lot of older firms are sitting on a goldmine of wasted time like this and don't even realize it until someone fresh points it out. That intern probably saved you way more than she cost in pride, haha.

The bit about "4 separate manual data entry steps" is the real story here, not the intern being rude. Nobody talks about how that setup is actually costing you way more than just time... I was at a place that did the same thing and we figured out we were losing like $12,000 a year in wasted billable hours just from typing stuff that should auto-populate. The PDF forms are annoying but the manual steps are the silent profit killer nobody sees coming.
