Pro tip: Found out 68% of agency clients leave because of poor communication, not bad work

I was reading a HubSpot study from last month and it hit me - we spend all this time obsessing over deliverables but most clients just want better check-ins. Switched to a weekly 5-minute video update and my retention rate jumped 20% in 3 months. Has anyone else tried ditching long email chains for quick async videos?

oh man, this hits so close to home. i switched to loom videos for my client updates last year and it was like a switch flipped - people actually watch them and respond with way more detail than they ever did in emails. it's honestly crazy how just seeing someone's face makes clients feel way more taken care of than a perfectly written status report.

Wait, people actually watch those things? @kellymurphy I figured everyone just let Loom videos sit unopened like the rest of the junk in their inbox. Thats wild that clients are giving you more detail because of a face on a screen instead of a boring email update.
