Wasted $1,200 on a fancy CRM I barely used

Last year I signed up for a big agency CRM called PipelinePro after hearing all the hype. Cost me $100 a month for the top plan and I ended up just using Trello anyway. I finally canceled it in March after realizing I paid for 12 months and only logged in like 4 times. Has anyone else thrown money at a tool that sounded great but never really clicked for their workflow?

Oh man, that stings! I've been there with a few tools where the sales pitch was way better than the actual daily use. Your mileage may vary, but for me it really comes down to how much friction there is - if it's not dead simple to start using right away, I just end up back in my old habits.

Actually I used to be all for the big all-in-one tools, thought you needed something that serious to stay organized. But after reading your post it really clicked for me - I've been paying for a pricier scheduling app for months and barely touch it, just use my phone calendar instead. Makes me rethink the whole "upgrade everything" mindset.
