Vent: My big pitch meeting turned into a tech support call
I was in a conference room in Austin trying to land a new retainer. Right when I started the slides, my laptop screen froze on a picture of my dog. The client's CEO just stared while I fumbled with the power button for five minutes. I ended up drawing the whole proposal on a whiteboard with dry erase markers. Has anyone else had a presentation totally fall apart and had to wing it?

The dog picture is the part that got me. Not a blue screen, not a loading icon, but your dog just chilling there while a CEO judges you. That's a special kind of tech failure. Drawing the whole thing on a whiteboard after that is actually kind of hardcore. Bet you remembered every single point without the slides.

That's the kind of tech disaster that builds character fast.
