Stop pitching yourself as a "full-service" agency if you can't do one thing well.

I talked to a founder in Denver last week who bragged about handling everything from web dev to paid ads, but his case studies were all over the map. Specializing got me 3x the inbound leads in 6 months than when I was trying to be everything to everyone. Anyone else seeing clients tune out when you list 15 services?

Got a call from a guy last month who said he was a "growth strategist" and when I asked what that meant he listed like 8 different things and none of them were related. Reminded me of my old roommate who told everyone he was a "creative consultant" but really just designed logos for his cousin's dog grooming business. I keep seeing these agency owners at networking events with these massive service menus on their cards and you can tell people's eyes just glaze over. Started asking them one simple question - what's the one thing you'd do right now for a client if they gave you 10 grand cash - and half of them can't answer without rambling for 3 minutes.

Yeah that's fair @riley595 but not everyone rambles on purpose.
