Pitch meeting at a cat cafe threw off my whole sales call
I booked a discovery call at that new cat cafe in Denver last Tuesday because I figured it'd be a relaxed vibe, but the owner's 18 cats kept walking across my laptop keyboard and deleting my pricing slides. We managed to close the deal but only after I abandoned my deck and walked them through the proposal verbally while one cat sat on the contract. Has anyone else picked a trendy coffee spot for a client meeting and immediately regretted the chaos?
