Just ran a $50 Facebook ad test on a whim and got 4 qualified leads in 24 hours

I threw together a quick video testimonial from a past client (just on my phone) and boosted it with no targeting beyond 'interests related to our niched service'. Has anyone else seen way better results from raw, unpolished content than from polished ads?

Yeah that tracks with what I've seen too. Raw video testimonials feel way more real to people because it's just a regular person talking about their experience. When you polish stuff up too much it starts to look like every other ad and people tune it out. The phone quality thing actually helps because it looks like someone's genuine recommendation not a sales pitch.

That phone quality tip really clicked for me, I started seeing better responses after I stopped trying to make everything look perfect.
