I thought hiring a sales coach was a waste of money for our agency.

We were a team of four in Austin and I figured we could just figure out sales ourselves. Then we hired a coach named Sarah for three months, and our close rate went from 15% to 28% by focusing on better discovery questions. Has anyone else tried a coach and seen a real jump in numbers?

Totally agree, we had the same doubt. Hired a guy to sharpen our demo calls and it was a game changer. He made us practice the handoff from sales to onboarding, and our client retention shot up in the first month. That fee paid for itself so fast.

Wait, 28%? That's insane. Our close rate was stuck at like twelve percent for two years. We thought we were asking good questions but Sarah must have some kind of magic script or something. How do you even measure that kind of jump without it being a fluke?
