Heard a guy at a conference say 'stop trying to land whales' and it hit me different

I was at a networking event in Denver last month and some agency owner was talking about how he stopped chasing $20k monthly retainers and focused on $3k-$5k clients instead. Said his close rate went from like 15% to 60% and he actually made more money. Been trying to land big accounts for 2 years and I'm worn out. Anyone else shift their target client size and see results?

Dropped from $10k to $4k clients. Way less stress.

30k a month had me running on fumes, but hearing this makes me rethink everything.
