Burned $600 on a Facebook ads course that taught me nothing new

Last spring I paid $600 for a course from a guy with 50k followers. All it was, was screenshots of his own dashboards. No real breakdowns. No strategy. Just 'trust the process'. I could've spent that on actual test ads. Has anyone else got value from those big name courses or am I just bitter?

Damn, I feel this so hard. I dropped $300 on a similar course and the only thing I got out of it was a PDF of his settings, which were already outdated. The real game changer for me was just running small $5 tests on like 5 different angles at once and killing whatever didn't hit by day two, that taught me more than any course ever did. Bitter is valid, but now you know to just save that cash for actual data.
