Blew $2,400 on a lead gen tool that brought my agency zero clients in 90 days
Back in January I signed up for one of those fancy lead gen platforms that promised 40 to 50 qualified agency leads a month. Cost me $800 a month plus a $400 setup fee, and I ran it for 3 months straight before I pulled the plug. Out of roughly 130 leads that came through, maybe 4 answered a follow up email and none of them booked a call. Turns out the leads were scraped from old directories and half the emails bounced. If you are thinking about paying for leads, ask them for the bounce rate in writing first because mine was 60 percent and they never told me until I asked. Anybody here actually gotten real clients from a paid lead service, or is it all just recycled garbage?
